On the 15th, 16th and 17th of June 2016 Eltoma Corporate Services in association with KPMG (Cyprus) held a three day seminar conference in Limassol (Cyprus) regarding international tax planning.
The Presenters over the three days included the CEO of Eltoma Corporate Services Mr. Dmitry Kucheryuk; the Senior Legal Representative of Eltoma Corporate Services Mr Evgeny Matrosov; Partner & Board Member from KPMG Mr. John Nicolau; and Mr. Harris Malek, who is the Senior Service Department Representative at KPMG.
The topics covered included Russian CFC legislation, global de-offshorisation trends, tax planning in the Asian region and more.
One of the most interesting topics was discussed on the third day of the seminars when Mr. Kucheryuk and Mr. Malek discussed trusts and funds in Cyprus, Singapore and on an international level.
These topics extended a warm welcome from the all attendees present, especially from the CySec approved service providers, who unanimously agreed that it’s one of the most important aspects of modern tax planning.
A well-received feature of the seminars was the frequent breaks, where attendees were able to discuss their personal challenges with the presenters and were able to receive advice and find the solution to their own individual cases.
